The IAAPA expo day two was very fun, seein the show floor and the many unveilings around the many booths. After a long day on the expo floor, I would go to FunSpot Kissimmee with Luke, Josh, and Abi to wind down after a long day. This park is similar in size to FunSpot Orlando, only having a few attractions, but each attraction can hold on its own. Our visit on Tuesday, November 18th, was a relaxing evening having Safe, Clean, Fun.
Starting our evening getting our wristbands, we would ride Galaxy Spin first. We had a weird experience as our car didn't spin at all. We were all confused as it is a Zamperla Spinning wild mouse. Josh and I rode a second time, and we got a lot more spinning on our second lap. After we all decided to do the Skycoaster. Fun Fact about the Skycoaster at FunSpot Kissimmee, it is the tallest, at 300ft tall. We would wind up riding twice, first with Josh second with Abi.
I needed a little break from the excitement, so we went and rode the Fun Slide. Its a simple mat slide, but it was fun. Sea Serpent followed and we then took the hike over to hurricane, the other E&F Miller. After, Josh and I would take 3 laps on Mineblower. It was a lot of fun, especially since it is an intense layout in a tight plot of land. i would have rode more, but I rode it a bunch back in January.
It was getting late, so we all decided to ride Up and Overboard. Somehow, this SBF Visa flatride, took over 10 minutes to dispatch. However, it was very fun. We also rode the Vortex go-karts, which has a 45 degree drop on a go-kart track. We had a lot of fun with Vortex, and I wanted to ride again, however we were all very tired.
FunSpot Orlando is a fun park to visit. It has an easy layout, and none of the rides we rode were bad. That night, I rode $134 worth of rides, since FunSpot is pay per ride unless you have an all day band/pass. This bring my running total so far on this trip to $400/$110, so I have more than tripled the value of my season pass in 3 days. When I went back the following night with Gray, we rode Mineblower 10 times and one lap on Galaxy Spin. That was $132 worth of rides, bringing the running total to $532/110. In one week, I got a great deal at FunSpot. FunSpot also is an easy going park, and we didn't wait for anything, just walking on to all the rides. I've attached some photos below, so feel free to take a look.
