Winter Warmup 2026
In January 2026, I would go to Florida with my family from January 3rd-10th, and visited Epic, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, FunSpot Kissemme/Orlando, and SeaWorld Orlando. For the rest of my family, it was their visit to Epic Universe, and they enjoyed it very much. Overall, the week was nice, warming up after a cold couple weeks in Ohio. If only I knew how cold January was going to be...because it froze me right back up.
Day 1: Epic Universe

First day at the parks, and it was very fun! We rode most the rides at Epic, including Stardust, Yoshi, Battle at the Ministry, Curse of the Warewolf, Monsters Unchained, and Constilation Carousel. For lunch, I wasn't feeling too well, so I got the Mushroom Soup in Nintendo Land, and it was very good. I really liked how the soup was presented in the mushroom bowl. We really liked the park, and how modern it is.
Day 2: FunSpot Kissemmee

We had a rest day after Epic, and in the afternoon, I went to FunSpot Kissimmee to get a couple rides before dinner. I rode Mineblower twice, Galaxy Spin, and the worlds tallest Sky Coaster. I only spent 30 minutes here, but I had a great time.
Day 3: Epic Universe/Islands of Adventure

Our second day at Epic started poorly, with Stardust, BatM, Donkey Kong, and Monster's Unchained, were all down. We would wait an hour for Dragon Racers, and after we got a Mac and Cheese cone. Donkey Kong was open after our snack and we waited 2 hours to ride, our longest wait. We got to meet Mario and Luigi, and took 2 laps (one on each side) on Stardust Racers. After, we went to Islands of Adventure to ride Forbidden Journey, Spiderman, and Velocicoaster.
Day 4: Universal Orlando Resort

We started day 4 at Universal Studios Orlando, and we rode a good number of the rides there, including Simpsons, MIB, Jimmy Fallon, and Villian Con. I really liked ET, Gringotts, and Mummy. Lunch at Studios...wasn't good compared to Epic. After, we rode the Hogwarts Express to Islands Of Adventure. We rode Hagrids, Hulk, and Dr Doom. After Islands Of Adventure, we left to finish our night at Epic Universe. We rode Monsters, and two laps on Stardust. We wanted to reride BatM again, but they closed the line for capacity for the night. We walked around Epic at night, and I think it is the most beautiful park in the world.
Day 5: FunSpot Orlando/SeaWorld Orlando

I would spend my last day in Orlando with my friend Gray. We would have lunch, and then spend some time at FunSpot Orlando, riding White Lightning, Freedom Flyer, and the Go-Karts, all several times. After, we would go and pop into SeaWorld, and ride Mako and Pipeline, before I had to go to dinner with my family. It was nice to catch up with Gray, especially since he now goes to school in Orlando. With this day wrapping up my week, it was a nice way to end my trip to Florida.
