Park Visits 26

To kick off the summer 2026 season, and to celebrate the end of my spring semester, I would a 5 day trip with Taylor and Gavin. Lasting March 27th through March 30th, we would travel through 7 states, and visit 4 parks along the way. The first park was Six Flags Over Georgia, followd by Fun Spot Atlanta later that evening. Our third stop was Carowinds in Charlotte, NC, and finishing off with a stop at the best park of the trip, Kings Dominion in Doswell VA. For more information on that, check out each park's respective page.

Our trip technically began on March 26th, with Gavin coming down from Detroit to spend the night at my apartment. We would be leaving at 4:30am to head to Atlanta the next morning. Gavin and I would get dinner, and watch some movies before heading to bed.

The next morning we would leave on time to head to Atlanta. Stopping in Columbus to pick up Taylor, we would begin our drive. We were intending to head to Fun Spot Atlanta Friday evening, but due to traffic in Knoxville we determined it wasn't worth the cost for only 15 minutes. We made up for it by visiting two Buc-ee's and a Whataburger before making it to our hotel.

Saturday we would spend the day at Six Flags Over Georgia, and visit Fun Spot for 2 hours after SFoG closed for the day. After FSA, we would head to Charlotte for Carowinds. Sunday we would spend all day at Carowinds, and had a wonderful time there meeting up Kurt. Monday would be our Kings Dominion day.

Tuesday we would visit Kings Dominion for 2 hours before heading home. On the way, we would stop at Bojangles and see the mountains of the south. I would get home by 1:30am, sunburt from my trip, but thrilled that everything went so smoothly.

This trip was very enjoyable, and Taylor and Gavin were very fun to travel with. For more indepth descriptions of the parks, click the links below and take a look.
