We rode Great American Scream Machine before we finally got to ride Superman. Superman was Taylor's first flying coaster, and they thoroughly enjoyed it, and I do not believe they expected how intense the pretzel loop was going to be. We went to go ride Monster Mansion, which I think is the best dark ride in the entire Six Flags chain. Taylor loved the animatronics, and I loved the newer effects that were installed during the off season. After a ride on Monstet Mansion, we would take a nice lunch break.
For saying I would give it a few years before making a return, I somehow find myself on my third visit to Six Flags Over Georgia, with my most recent visit being during my Southern Thaw trip on March 28th, 2026. SFoG would wind up being the first park of 4 during our trip. After SFoG, we would make the 35 minute drive to Fun Spot Atlanta to ride ArieForce One, Sea Serpent, and Hurricane.
Dahlonega Mine Train was the last coaster of the day at SFoG, before we left we took one more lap on Monster Mansion before heading to Fun Spot Atlanta. They changed the load station for this year, removing the need to go up and over the load and unload station. It is much more effecient and easy now.
For saying I would give it a few years before making a return, I really do like Six Flags Over Georgia. The park is very pretty, and the ride lineup is solid. I noticed this year that the merch department had gotten more park specific merch, which I really like. I got to try some more of the park food, and I think it's a step up from last year.
Fun Spot Atlanta was also a nice visit. They were doing a great job keeping everything moving, and the park has a charm that you don't find at many parks anymore. I liked how grass lined the ground between the rides, it made it feel cozy.
Both parks were really fun, and rather well ran during our visits. My only complaint was that ArieForce was only running one train, but the second one was undergoing refurb. Both Taylor and Gavin made vlogs during our visits to SFoG, and Taylor made a standalone vlog for FSA. Click the links to check them out, because they do a great job covering our days on camera.
