Rolling into the park early Monday afternoon, we would have some small issues getting into the park. Since the sale, the recipricals and passes are all over the place, and sometimes don't work. They let us in after a little bit, but it was a challenge.
Our first credit of the day was Ninja, the Vekoma/Arrow hybrid coaster. The coaster reminded me of Anaconda at Kings Dominion, but it was fun. We followed with Batman: The Ride, before we headed over to Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast to get Ronan's 250th credit. Mr. Freeze was incredible, with a forceful launch, crazy tophat, and a crazy spike. Caroline and I rode it twice before heading over to American Thunder.
American Thunder is a GCI woodie, that has an amazing layout. Its the only ride I wanted to get a reride on but sadly ran out of time.
Six Flags Over Enchanted Parks Mid-America St Louis, what a mouthful of a name for a small park. Six Flags St Louis was the first stop of our Missouri trip, and we were excited. The park had been sold off back in March of 2026 to a new company called Enchanted Parks, which also acquired Worlds of Fun, Great Escape, Michigan's Adventure, and a few other parks from Six Flags. For the 2026 season, however, the park would retain its Six Flags name.
I was delighted to see that Six Flags St. Louis had a clone of Pandemonium from Six Flags New England, and even more delighted to get a ride with Luke and Josh. With how we balanced the car, we spun like a top through the layout. We rode Rookie Racer next, and it was fun.
We followed with The Boss, which is easily the best wooden coaster I have ever ridden. I rode it 4 times with Luke, and it was so good. I wish I got a night ride/front row ride. I also bought a t-shirt of the ride, since I really liked it.
After The Boss, we rode two flats, Fireball, and Catwoman Whip. I did not like Catwoman, although I am glad to ride it. Wondering over to Screamin' Eagle, we rode what I personally thought was the worst coaster of the trip. It rode roughly on the rails, and it made me feel a little ill. Boomerang finally reopend after a delay, and it was alright. I found it better then Screamin' Eagle. To wrap up our credit run, we rode River King Mine Train twice, since they let us reride.
Afterwards, Caroline, Ronan, and I went to ride Justice League and get some rerides on Mr. Freeze, while Luke and Josh rerode Batman and Ninja. We rode it 4 times in both the front and back, which was super fun. To end the night, Luke and I tried to reride The Boss, but it went down, so we got rerides on Ninja.
Six Flags St. Louis has potential. I believe Enchanted Parks has some good plans for this park, and I think with some good work (and a successful rebrand to MidAmerica Park) it will succeed. The merch was lacking, but I think its just in a transistion period. The park has a solid lineup, and can easily be a good park. I genuinely don't understand why the park gets so much hate, but the park would pale in comparison to Silver Dollar City over the next two days.
