Kings Island Winterfest 2025

Winterfest at Kings Island is a unique experience if you've grown up in Ohio. The idea that they can operate rides in the cold is awesome, and with the lights, its like a better version of Zoo Lights. I got to go with my Dad and Stephine on December 12th, and we spent the majority of the evening at the park. We rode Snoopy's Soapbox Racers, Flight of Fear, and Mystic Timbers, and riding through the snowy woods on Mystic Timbers was a very unique experience.

Steph really liked Tinker's Jingle Bell Ball, a great stage show in the Kings Island Theatre. The christmas charols overlaid on the train made for a nice experience, riding by the lights and listing to the music. The lights were really fun in general, and we walked around a good chunk of the evening seeing all the lights. We also had the meatloaf burger, which was amazing, and I would get it again.

Entering the park for the evening, we got to take a nice look at all the lights lining International Street. The Ice Skating rink is in the middle, replacing the main fountians. We would walk around here looking at all the different decorations before going to ride some of the rides.

Before riding the rides for the evening, we went and saw Tinker's Jingle Bell Ball at the Kings Island Theatre. The plot of the show was the elves wanted to thank Santa for being a great boss, and they threw a party for him before his trip.

After riding lots of rides (and being turned into popsicles!) We would all take a relaxing ride on the train, seeing the different lights strung up along the tracks while Christmas Charols were played. It was a fun ride, and a good way to relax a little.
