Cedar Point Sup Night

May 23rd, 2026

Working at Cedar Point has the greatest job perk in the world. You can visit and enjoy the park when you're off the clock. When we closed early on May 23rd, my supervisors Jaden, Madison, and Rycor, invited me to hang out at the park for a few hours on a cold, rainy, Saturday. While the weather wasn't good, we had a great time.

Saturday should have been a busy weekend day, but poor weather rolled in and suddenly we were closing at 8pm, and I was sent home 5 hours early. I got a text from Jaden asking if I wanted to hang out. I said yes, because I don't mind the cold and rain.

We met up at Point Plaza, and decided to walk over to Gatekeeper to get a ride in. The line was alright, it just took awhile due to poor operations. After riding, we saw that Magnum, which had been closed all season up to this point, had finally opened. We walked over only to find it was on 1 train. We decided after that we would not ride.

We would decide to walk around a little to see what had a short line, and we all commented how TT2 was surprisingly running in the weather. After seeing how busy Frontier Town was, we decided to go ride Millennium Force.
TT2 Rain
When we finally made it to Millennium Force, it went down due to the rain really picking up. We went to Red Garter Saloon, since a show was starting in a few minutes and it was out of the rain. It was a music show filled with classic rock. We watched the show, and when it ended we went out only to be met with a still closed Millennium Force, so we went and rode Rougarou. They were on one train but the line went rather quickly. Millennium reopened when we got off, and with it being Jaden's first ride, we all had a lot of fun.

Jaden had to leave after our lap on Millennium Force, and Madison went to meet up with a friend. This left Rycor and I to decide we could go for a lap on Magnum, and the line was shorter. We got lift stopped during our ride, which was a surprise to be sure. After, we had time for one more lap, and we picked to ride Top Thrill 2, which rolled back right before our ride.

Taking an evening to ride a few rides with my supervisors was a fun way to spend the night. Last year I didn't get many chances to get to know my superiors, so this was a welcomed way to get to know them. While it sucked having the park close 2 hours earlier than originally planned, when Rycor and I left it was super empty. This was a good way to really kickoff my experince at Cedar Point, not just going up riding 1-2 coasters in about an hour before the park closes.
