Cedar Point Winter Chill Out 2026

Every year Cedar Point holds a behind the scenes tour of the park for charity during the off season. I have gone to Winter Chill Out twice, first in 2025 with my dad, and again in 2026 as a tour guide escort. While I didn't get to take as many pictures as 2025, being a tour guide escort was very enjoyable. The people I was guiding through the park were very kind, and all said the tour was enjoyable, minus the cold.

Starting the day, Caroline and I drove up to WCO together. She was helping guide the Valravn group, I was helping the Raptor group. It was cold, but a great start to the day.

One of the stops along the tour today was Maverick's tunnel. The tour got to get close and take pictures along two points of the tunnel. I took a couple photos quickly because this location was new to me, and it was nice.

Further along, we got to stop at the Siren's Curse workshop. In here, they work on the trains during the off season, getting them ready for the next summer. Full teardowns and rebuilds are done in here, keeping the trains in tip top shape to provide thrills.

Last POI for this trip is one of the main workshops, working on various rides in here throughout the off season. In here, they had various rides in repair in here, including Corkscrew, Steel Vengeance, and the chassis for Top Thrill 2. This is, for many on the tour, the highlight. It is always neat to see how the rides are taken care of during the winter. After this, it was lunch, and following was the end of the tour.
