I can't believe it's August aready! We are now 2/3 of the way into 2026, my birthday month, Dad's wedding month, and Nate and I's 6th month anniversary. It's also what I like to consider the sunset month, as all my favorite sunsets seem to happen in August. August also seems to be a month of great change for me, usually a good shakeup. I hope my August doesn't get too much of a changeup, if I do I'd prefer a good kind of change.
So far this summer has been filled with lots of fun activites, like Boston, Branson, and Atlanta, and I will be wrapping it up with Chicago after the wedding.
Let's hope this month is a good one!

Work today was fun and drizzly. I also worked on doing some resets with Kayln, and helped Garrot move shoes from A1 to A2. It didn't feel like a Saturday. Overall working was fun, and I had a smooth day.
I used the BMV Express kiosk today to renew my registration for my car. It was super easy, and I would do it again in a pinch. I also got some garlic bread while at Meijer, and I am cooking it now.

Just got home from Hadestown with Nate. I really liked how it was presented, and it was a beautiful story.

Work today is weird, I won't deny it. I opened Shores in the rain, and by noon, I was given shutdown orders from management. Shores closed at 1pm. I got asked to go back to my old stomping grounds of Area 1, and I clock back in at 5pm. Since I close, I will be rather tired, but it will be fun. Sadly, an Area 1 local Kaylee, will not be working tonight :(.

I got to tour Castaway Bay today, and it was super cool. I have always wanted to see the hotel, and this was the chance I needed. I was late though, which was because I overslept after my LOOONG day yesterday. My favorite part was seeing the waterpark. Before I went back onpoint to work, I checked on Flo's Surf Shop, one of my locations when I cover resorts, and then went to the park.
After work today, I was walking out of the park when I ran into Kaylee going on her break. It was nice talking to her, and we had a lovely chat. During our chat in the break room, we ran into Jaden, Wes, and Leo! We all had a good time talking about various topics. Jaden had her Digicam in her bag, and we got a nice picture together.
After I got home, I called Aidan and we discussed a lot of things. He's coming home this weekend for the wedding. I am excited since I haven't seen him since my redemption days in the spring.

Today is Kaylee's last day :(
I am going to miss her as she gets ready to move to Idaho (not Colorado), but we plan to hang out at least one more time before she goes away.
Nate is going to be in for a treat before I go to work, since I plan to bring them a "venti iced mocha". I was told this is Nate's favorite Starbucks order, and I am not very good in the coffee world.
Uncle Tim and Emily are visiting today, and I plan to ride a ride or two with them after work, assuming I get to leave ontime. I haven't seen them since April, during the anniversary trip, so it will be exciting.
