Amish Journey
hello wonderful world of youtube it's alex and you know what yesterday was a beautiful day because i went on an amish journey through the countryside so you know 30 minutes let me one of these story time videos so that's why i'm doing one of what i did yesterday uh so what's it started okay so first things first uh you know wake up in the morning and eat breakfast not that much then we don't move over to your friend's house pick up a friend to go down to the countryside after we
did that we we went down to it it was a long drive it was like two hours through the countryside we went to this like mrs yoder's kitchen it was pretty good we watched track two it was amazing after that uh we we went back to the actual which is antique store and they had lots of cool things they're like i found like three anvils i found light of pepsi signs and model railroading and cars it was really cool but you know i didn't get anything at the first store i kind of wish i did because it was an
anvil for ten bucks and i one more spot and i but you know maybe i'll see about going down like a week or two with my dad again but anyways after that uh we we went to another one and i went to it was not as cool as the first one and uh i bought a shrek mug clearing otherwise everything at the other the second store was pretty lame and after that we drove to the front the friend's house that we picked up earlier and we made pizza i tried to make stuff crushed it didn't really work uh but yeah
then we watched a movie and played a board game called munchkin very very fun and i uh drove home from stolen on the interstate that was that was really the day and completely honest i mean it was very entertaining to do it just it's hard to explain it that's the story actually real quick before i go you guys you know this is the lego city i put the grand emporium in it's all good oh good you know what the next video i'll show you guys this truck four mug because i i have to clean it still

Ramblings in 2021
hello wonderful world youtube it's alex and uh well i haven't made videos as much i'm slowing down and honestly i'll be quite honest with you because well uh there's really nothing to talk about uh i'll put it i'll put it lightly like like last saturday like like i did that stuff right you know and sunday but then like this week i think the most the most exciting thing i did this entire week was play roblox that was about it um oh no actually no last night uh this is more of a vlog
i guess like a personal thing for me to see later on but last night i uh watched um it was a friend's house my friend and we were you know we were up all night we watched one division revenge the sith and they were like hey it's pretty close to me and when we just finished revenge of sith watch the new one division episode that comes out in like you know 20 minutes and then go to bed and as we did it was amazing it's best episode ever i've got to tell you one division it's amazing and it's a good show it's
it it's it's an interesting thing if you can hear my brother in the background i'm sorry my airpods might don't uh don't be working right now because of an accident but um this this this this uh this weekend is actually pretty sweet because it was a five day weekend uh completely off because thursday teacher vaccination friday waiver day saturday sunday monday president's day oh wait 20 21 we've had two three day a week so far in last month i love it you know everything's what's going on
right now it's interesting i mean the world around us around me i guess i mean there could be people watching this video now in 20 30 years who won't even be born while this video was being recorded that's something i have to find interesting i mean i'm gonna go on a little bit of a tangent but i i am not that much older than youtube itself i was born in august of 004 and well youtube was created april of 05. i am literally older than youtube by about six months and the to put that into perspective
i got my eagle scout about six months ago almost to the day give it a few more days and it'd be six months to the day so that just goes to show um uh i guess it's a rambling about time and how things like they feel slow and it's interesting this is a bit of a more of a rambling video something i haven't done in a while a while meeting since like november but if you're watching this 10 years from now i want you to comment 10 years if you're watching this 20 years from now

My 6 day weekend
hello wonderful world of youtube it's alex and you know i am ending i'm ending a six day weekend from school that's a little bit of an interesting thing to tell you because uh i don't think you would expect a six day weekend i mean we already had a a five-day weekend this was a interesting turn of events so last week was wednesday and we were all excited because the teach we had uh online school which basically meant nothing because uh teachers didn't feel like doing anything
on thursday because it was uh they put the put it lightly they're getting vac vaccinated and i i don't know why it took me a second there i just completely blanked i'm sorry um but so we um you know we we did the you know thursday came and you know we did nothing friday came and you know it's actually a waver day so we didn't do anything saturday sunday i saturday i declined like i might make a video on that tomorrow evening when i'm at home in my proper filming location
talking about klondike um sunday i just chilled out relaxed uh i think i don't really remember what i did sunday sunday uh on sunday i uh or not something monday you know i chilled out i had drama club practice might make a video on that as well too you know what um i i will uh put on a spinner we'll decide and then uh then monday night you know i'm sitting like oh i don't want to go to school i have work to do because i have been procrastinating and then i get the magic announcement
from the gods of twitter also known as the superintendent saying ladies and gentlemen school has been canceled for the 16th because of snow and i go whoa yeah baby so i'm like yeah yeah let's go so then i uh i of course uh decide i'm going to be doing uh you know the new you know the next day i got my work done don't worry the next day i uh open up and you know today i just chilled out played games did some shoveling of snow and uh yeah it's it's it's been a great six days off
of school wish we had another day just wish we had one more day but there's no air another snow day unless we get like five feet of snow tonight but it's a problem in my city they have the best plowing capacity in the entire state of ohio when there's like a little when there's like two flakes they go out and they start plowing it's it's amazing and that sounded very wrong do not take the context please twitter anyways um yeah if you guys okay i'm gonna be honest do comment some

Valentine's Day
hello wonderful world of youtube it's alex now uh yesterday i said i had two video topics and i also said i didn't remember what i did on sunday yeah it took me three seconds after i upload to realize that uh i actually did something sunday and it was i went ice skating with sarah my girlfriend for valentine's day i honestly don't remember i don't know how i blanked on it i just did really hard and i am kind of embarrassed about it so so sorry so you know valentine's day
wait time to wake up i wake up at 10. i'll tell you why because i slept in very much and then nothing really happens until like noon ish can i go pick up sarah i actually drove to there into the ice skating rink which is about an hour away uh but it was a it was the drive was not interesting actually sarah has never done ice skating before i actually fun fact about myself i actually took ice skating lessons about seven or eight years ago and for me at least i've done ice skating only a couple times after that
once you get back on the ice and warm up you actually know what you're doing relatively fast you you figure out what you're doing pretty quickly because it's it's pretty simple so uh yeah we get we go over there we get to you know get the skates get the skates on sarah's never done it and i'm trying to help her and i i'm not a certified figure skating instructor just an ice skating instructor in general my mom neither but we were trying to teach her you know because she's never
done it before so for the first like hour we were really hugging the wall and i don't blame her she's never done this before this is the most stressful thing she's ever done and uh you know so we're doing it i'm having lots of fun they're playing some music it's ranging like crazy but surprisingly not really valentine's day music it was more just general pop i'm not sure why but i think it was this is the best thing we've ever done so then we took a break got some water
about an hour in and then about the other rest of the hour and a half because this was a or the rest of the time i don't know how long we're actually on the ice so i took up a water break eyes so for a fact we were there from 1 to 2 30 because that's how long our time slot was so then uh you know near the end we were working on her like actually moving on her own and she was able to go quite a bit just on her own and i was getting i was proud of her i mean it took me almost a week of practices to actually
learn how to actually move on my own well it took her with me and my mom it took her like uh an hour and a half and yes my mom was there because uh well ice skating rinks an hour away it was actually a lot closer we just took a little bit of a longer way because i was driving um to put a long story short she was there because i don't have my license so excuse me anyways we continued uh you know after that we went to raising canes and if you don't know what raising canes is it's basically chick-fil-a but the only
thing they literally sell is chicken thunders they have the three-piece four-piece six piece and then a chicken sandwich that's that's it and the chicken sandwich is not a chicken patty it's chicken tenders so they legitimately only sell chicken tenders it's pretty ingenious and then after that we went home and we watched the first four episodes of juan division because i didn't want to watch a rom-com and i thought well one division is kind of romantic it's about wanda and vision trying to start a life

Klondike
hello wonderful youtube it's alex and you know what i i remember telling you guys in my monday video uh or tuesday my badge oh my gosh anyways good idea last major video before the video before the last one i made so the six day weekend video i said i was going to tell you guys about klondike now klondike is a thing in boy scouts of america where basically you do a you load up a sled of a bunch of equipment and you're basically given scenarios or it's life and death that would probably
never happen because we don't use sleds anymore kind of funny actually uh but anyways it's we so we start off with uh going you know to the place we're actually a little late and we had to sign in checking all the idea and we had to get our sled we loaded up with gear it was all good and uh this is gonna be a key detail but one of those basically things are probably a bag of rope some tarps some poles uh we put some bag our backpacks on just to make it look like way more stuff um a couple other things i don't really
remember in a bluetooth speaker that was accidentally brought because someone forgot to unclip it from their bag anyway so we started our journey and uh so you know the first event we had to do this there's like six events and we had to actually hike around with this big slutter probably way close to 80 pounds 80 90 pounds uh anyway so the you know the first thing we do is we do the sled race this is the first event because this is where everyone starts at the same time basically the idea was supposed to be
paddle boarding but on snow and it didn't work it literally didn't work uh so we they just said okay uh we can't they literally like my my my troop was the only one that actually made it to the first this was like a relay race of like paddle boarding we were the only one that made it to the first checkpoint and it was like not even that big it was probably at most 150 feet long you're like okay okay stop stop stop stop stop so then they changed it so basically there's two people one was pulling
this thing in the sled that rotated through all the checkpoints and everything we came in third for that actually uh if we didn't have an issue we would have been fine we got second maybe even first so the next event we had to haul a sled about about a mile we had to do a build a fire we did pretty good on that we got 14 out of 20 points we got 70 only reason was because we couldn't get the fire to burn hot enough to uh meet the requirements because there's a string tied above the fire
anyway to burn the string and two we did not get there uh so anyways uh after we after that we started going and this was like the longest distance between the events it was like a mile so we started jamming out to some music on the bluetooth speaker and let me tell you kid who brought it uh he had what's it called what's it called it's called nom era it had like a huge like 150 song nom era playlist so it was it was awesome we were we were jamming the fortunate sun going pulling a sled in the snow
yes we are definitely vietnam era so then after that we had to go to this event where it was first aid and the idea was that your one of your kids fell down a 50-foot cliff and you had to bring them up with some ropes we did surprisingly good at that we got the same score 14 out of 20. so in the next event we went to was um oh okay so we had to cross over a slightly frozen creek we did very good on that actually we almost completed it so uh that was that was fun uh and then the la the next event after that
was a fun event where you hit a golf ball into a bucket we did not do good on that one and then the last event the rope bridge the idea of the rope bridge uh basically you tie a sl we had to basically take our sled put on a zip line and move it 30 feet and everyone in the troop and if you fall off the rope you die if the sled falls you die uh and we have like 15 minutes to do it in the first time in our little in our known history we actually completed it we got half a point normally we get no points because we do
so badly on it but we got half a point so we did good and after that there was soup hot dogs and then there's an auction with all the points totals you auction stuff we got gatorade bottles and ramen but then after that there's really not much going on because i don't know there's not really much to really talk about after that but anyways yeah that was klondike if you enjoyed the video please do like comment subscribe and i will see you all peace out

Why the internet sucks
hello wonderful world of youtube it's alex and you know i've made a video in like a week or two and i'm kind of sorry things got busy and i kind of just kind of forgot anyways uh you know last night i was thinking as i was lying trying to fall asleep to bed i thought about well like like the internet kind of sucks sometimes it's really because of one thing and that thing is if you only know someone on one platform and they disappear you're probably never going to find them again and honestly
that's it's happened to me a few times in my time on the internet back when i first started i guess doing things on the internet back in 2015 uh i i was really good friends with this uh person online on instagram we chatted we knew each other very well and one day in 2016 or 17 they disappeared and their account was gone and i don't know what happened to them it's it's kind of sad i know but they were a fan page and i i was good friends with them and they they were very friendly
lots of cool things and lots of cool things we talked for a while and everything and it was great but of course they disappeared and another time and about three years ago in 2018 i used to play in a minecraft server and they was friends of a guy whose name was uh angry dan dutch that was his username good friends with very good friends and then one day they uh they uh they disappeared and i never heard them again i didn't have to discord or anything and it was that was before i got discord it
wouldn't be there a year before i would get discord uh then the last person there was this instagram person i followed they were a countdown every day they would pose a picture of a snail eating a cucumber it was a meme in 2019 or 18 one or the other and they they stopped posting we talked it was all good um and then one day they just disappeared and it was kind of sad i mean they were good friends we were good friends somewhat i tried again to join my discord server or discord server i was on and they're like
no i'm good and i don't think i'll ever find them again and if i ever if i ever talk to them again i would be very happy but unfortunately something i gotta deal with anyways if you like this video please do like comment subscribe and i uh if you made this far comment internet anyways peace out
