For two years, I went to Bowling Green State Univerity's main campus in Bowling Green Ohio. During my time there, I would meet many people, and make friends with so many fun people. The 2026 Winter in Sandusky was cold and long, and when the March weather began to warm, I would make a trip to BGSU with some of my Sandusky friends, to see some of my BG friends, and so Nate and Audrey could make their first RAIL meeting as officers for the club.
Leaving from Sandusky at 3:30pm on a warm Monday afternoon, Nate, Audrey, Evan and I would make the hour drive to Bowling Green. We would discuss how we were so close to finishing our semester, and our group projects.
We would meet with Daisy, Baylee, and others at City Park. During our time at BGSU, we would go to City Park frequently, especially when it was nice out. Daisy and I caught up on the fun part of our lives, and Nate and Daisy would chitchat as well.
Before we went to dinner at Pisanello's Pizza, we went to the Woodland Mall so I could show Evan and Nate the place. I hadn't been since I left BG...and it hadn't changed much. A few stores got moved, and a BBQ place was planning to open up, but otherwise it was was about the same. The kids table we sat in was nowhere the Food Court, which we found funny.
We all went to Pisanello's Pizza for dinner, which I insist is better than Campus Pollyeyes. They're a smaller restaraunt, so we had to take two tables. Nate and Daisy thought dinner was good. Audrey, Evan, and Baylee also thought it was good. In my opinion? Its the best pizza in Ohio (that I've had).
The RAIL meeting was there to introduce our officers, and it was so neat seeing Nate and Audrey up there. It was a fun get to know meeting, especially since so many Sandusky and BG people were at the meeting. I had to wait for Nate and Audrey to finish their officer meeting after the main meeting, so I chatted with many of the BG people who I don't see often.
Before heading back to Sandusky, we ended our evening with the Waffle House Postgame Show. Nate and I got a Waffle, since we had a big dinner. Daisy had to leave after the meeting, which sucked because Waffle House is always a vibe. The whole day was so much fun, especially since I got to see so many people.
